The most apparent benefit of sober living home is that they ease the transition back into everyday life. Recovery is an ongoing commitment; it does not end after rehab. That is why sober living environments are so important. They bridge the gap between treatment and mainstream society, helping people ease into the real world – work, school, nightlife, relationships, and more. We provide a safe and sober place to come home to each night and allow residents to adjust to independent living without the formal, round-the-clock care they had in a treatment setting.
Alan Cross2023-04-10Currently staying here and they helped me find work. Helped me get to work and most of all helped give me the tools to stay sober and it's a nice friendly and safe environment. Very good people. Joe the guy who runs it really cares about us and what he is doing. If your ready to make a change in your life this place is a perfect place to start!Kasper Kasper2023-03-28First sober living where I’ve felt like I was part of a family. I owe my life to this place. The owners are in recovery and have hearts made of gold to say the least. I was fresh out of the hospital when the owner Joe picked me up. I had nowhere else to go and I feel it was due to Gods will I was placed into such a perfect home. Without getting into my story too much. I would like to say, To say I was rough around the edges is an understatement. After a few months I was with the houses help (meaning the other guys I lived with), my desperation to get and to remain sober, along with Joe’s constant support. For example he was away for vacation when I first got to the house and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay the guy I was like I want you to call me every day so I did. Every call we would talk about the day we would laugh and sometimes he would share some of his more vulnerable moments with me during some of my difficult days. If not for those calls I would not have been able to stay sober for the amount of time I have nor would I have been able to experience the blessings that I’ve been given. The journey of sobriety is the destination, and I am grateful that I found a safe comforting place I can call home here at bridges with joe. Thanks Joe and your family for everything that y’all have done and continue to do in my journey to sobriety and happiness. If I could give 6 stars I would.Jake Tepera2023-01-14I was referred to Bridges when I was looking for a new sober living. Ever since Joey answered the phone I knew what to expect and it was exactly that and what I had hoped for: ~Nice homes in a safe neighborhood out of the city traffic and chaos of Dallas ~Great pricing for what is given But most importantly a loving, positive environment where we are encouraged instead of put down. Believe me there are more sober livings than not where bullying occurs from both employees and clients, however that is NOT allowed at Bridges Sober Living nor from Joey. Which means it maintains a kind nd fair atmosphere. I am speaking to any future clients or parents or friends of a possible client, this is the place to be. I've been to Patton sober living in Dallas which is a rip off and John Patton is a con man and a thug. Bridges is the way. Trust me on this. Joey and Tiffany are some of the most compassionate people I know.Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 3 reviews
